[RESOLVED] Beats audio amplifier location - Seat leon mk4 FR estate eTSI.

Hi everybody

I own a Seat leon mk4 FR estate eTSI 150CH from 2022. This car has the beats audio "soundsystem" which i really don't like so i'm trying to improve the overall sound.

I've already planned to soundproof everything i can - doors, trunk floor, trunk door and maybe the hood- and to swap all the speakers. I may also change the sparewheel subwoofer in the future.

At the moment i want to ad a little amplifier next to the beats audio one, an audiotec fischer match 5.4. This is why i'm trying to find the location of the oem amplifier. I know that in mk4 leon's non-estate eTSI this amplifier is in the trunk next to the sparewheel and that in other versions it's under the driver's seat. But in my car i have a voltage converter under the driver seat (see the picture). This thing works with the 48v battery under the passenger seat.

So does anybody here would be able to tell me where's this beats audio amplifier sits in this car?

It is in non-estate car but in my estate mk4 there's nothing next to the spare wheel. The subwoofer cable goes through the trunk panel and disapears along the left side of the car (driver seat). In the trunk i've got the sparewheel with the subwoofer inside and some tools under but no amp at all...

I've finally found the Beats audio amplifier in my car. It's located underneath the trunk garniture, right side, between the right rear wheel and the trunkdoor (french car with left driver's side).
I hope this will help anybody who will need to access this amplifier.

Did you end up installing Match? Which version and what cable did you use? Lastly - was it worth it?

i've installed the match up 8dsp. The wiring was included, i bought it here :

It's almost plug and play, i did have to swap the locking socket in the included cable because it was reversed, nothing to complicate.
I can show you a picture of the final installation if you want, i'll update my thread with some work in progress picture next month (i'm on holiday right now)
