Replacing BWA engine with CDL engine - what are some things I should be considering?

So basically, I need a new engine for the FR, which is currently stage 2+.

Found a CDL engine which i’m interested in, and just want to know how straight forward the swap will be.

My budget does not allow for the turbo and injectors, so those are 2 things that I will need to upgrade to later on.

Just hoping any of you guys know if it’s just straight plug and play or not? Will the old loom be compatible? If not, do I need the PCM(ECU) from the CDL? Or can I get away with just mapping my old PCM?

I’m assuming it will mount okay, but will there be any problems connecting it to my manual gearbox? Will my old Ko3 turbo bolt straight on?

Are there any other things I have not considered? Thanks.
