so what happened about the rubbing? how did u get it fixed?

I've put the link above so you can se what you have to cut off...:) (http://www.ibiza-forum.de/thread.php?threadid=30752&sid=)

It still rubbs on bigger bumps, but rarely...

Rash - it is a bit bowed because I wanted to try and get a smaller gap between the bumper... There are plastic brackets on it, but a bit smaller... The bowing is hardly noticeable, and I'm afraid that if i put it lower (straight) i would tare the splitter off somewhere!
:(

well the hose on the left behind the car is where i live and the drive is behind the bush to the left and i have to turn right out of my drive to go into town and to work or the gym so coming off at an angle is impossible

the path behind the car is a path to next doors back garden

Some news...

Been to a dyno last week - 169hp and 390Nm

The odd thing was the power on the wheels - only 120hp! Despite that the car runs very well!

And yesterday, finally, the FMIC was fitted! There's been a lot of effort with making the pipes, but it was worthed ! The car runs so much better in the first 4 gears, I really didn't expect such a difference! :D

On Thursday I'm going to the dyno again to see the possible gains!

And today I fitted the Cupra air intake...

There are two brackets that hold the fmic on and they are handed ;)

thanks but what do u mean by handed? do u know where i can get the other 1 from that i need? the 1 ive already got has 4 holes in it and is bent at 90 degrees down the centre, 2 of the holes on 1 side have rubber on them, cheers

i had to go into the stealers yesterday and whilst i was there i got a price on the SEAT sport FMIC, £ 262.85 + VAT  (£308.85).
i asked about the brackets and the hoses etc to link up with the current intake system and he gave me a printed diagram detailing every part in the system and they are all numbered!

if you contact your local friendly stealer, the diagram detailing the SEAT Sport FMIC setup is illustration No: 145-46

(have been trying to upload a PDF of it but can't seem to do it![:@] )

was told when i know what parts i want to quote the illustration number, then the item number.

EDIT: here is the diagram i was on about! apologies for the quality had to do a screen dump, open in paint, crop in photoeditor, but i got there!

i'd noticed that restriction on item 8 also!
was thinking of using the diagram as a shopping list ;) and as a costing exercise, source aluminium tubing and silicone hose seperately!

when i finally get my car back im ripping the bumper off to get some more measurements to replace the ristrictive part and work out an idea to keep the sensor that goes in that part.
oh and give the fmic a good clean
