Hi Guys, I have a problem with the wiper stalk, in that the wipers will go on their own. I'm looking to remove the wiper stalk to replace it, but looking for some assistance first.

I tried to take it apart before Christmas, but couldn't get the plastic covers off, (And I dont want to break anything)

Plus I realise, I have to remove the steering wheel, so if anyone could point me in the direction of some guide, or pointers, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nottingham's still to far!! lol

---The steering wheel comes off by unclipping the airbag, 2 little holes in the back of the steering wheel are where you need to be to get the clips undone, you may need to gently pull the airbag while doing it, they're a bugger to do and the worst bit of the job,
--- Unclip the airbag ribbon, from the steering wheel
--- Undo the nut holding the steering wheel on the then pull it off, leave the nut on a few threads otheriwse you'll hit yourself in the face with the steering wheel (make sure the wheels are straight first)
--- Take off the plastics around the ignition and column
--- Unplug all the wiring to the stalks, the indicator stalk is feed through the wiper stalk
--- Undo the 3 screws that hold the stalks on
--- Take off the indicator stalk
--- Take off of the wiper stalk

Hopes this helps you.
