Right yes I know this has been answerd before (dont shout at me rash lol), i have read the one helpfull thread that said

so you have undone all the outer 10mm bolts obviously and you have taken out the window you need to undo the 3 multi spline bolts for the door catch and also remove the outer exterior handle by removing the black cap on the side of the door and hold the undle open and undo the size 25 torx screw then pull the lock carrier off and unhook the rest off the handle unclipping the cable then the metal door pannel will pull everything out window runners catch handle mechanism ect ect

I get how to take off the outer metal door card the plastic one, but need to take off the metal one. So my first question is how to I take the glass out? presuming that needs doing first

Then is this how I do it?
Remove all 10mm bolts
What are mutli spine bolts?
how do I undo this carrier thing.

Baisicly my problem is I tryed delocking the car, dropped the clip for the lock barrel in the door so it wont tighten up and now need to retrieve and fix :(

any help greatly appreciated

ok so you can remove the plastic door card without any problems. When this door card is off you will see two big circular rubber plugs on the inside. Open them and then use your electric window switch to move the window up/ or down until you can see the two 10mm nuts that tighten the clamps holding the window on its runners. Loosen these, and you shouldnt have any problems lifting the window out ( easiest from the outside, tilting the window in my experience) Do this before losening the 10 mm bolts hold the metal door card to the door.

the multi spline bolts are the two bolds holding the lock mechanism to the door. open the door and you will see them (beside the catch).
Ther is also one holding the actual door handle in place, so pop the black cap off in the side of the door and put a t25 torx screwdriver (i think) to loosen it. pull the barrel out from the outside, remove the wire from the handle and pop it out aswell.

The whole inner door card should be ready to lift out (remember to disconnect speakers and window motor). Drop the side nearest to engine out first and then the other side and your done.

Hope this helps. Tricky business in my experience. :D

guiness if i lived near yoiu id pop over and do it for you it is exstramly easy but to exsplain it it is very hard :( halfords sell a ratchet screw driver kit (draper) blue case with hundreds of screw driver bits there is a multispline in there that fits it will also work for the 25 torx behind the black cap to release the door handle i think im going to video myself removing a door card as this will be so much easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 is the clip ur talking about the white plastic one that holds the clamp to the runner which holds the window? if so, should only be a couple of quid from the stealers. Poor design and quality imo.

dont think the door card comes off with out taking the lock out. you would have to prise the door card open at one end and would risk breaking something.

The door barrel should just pull out once the torx screw under the cap on the side of the door is loosened. Try using something to prise it out but make sure you dont mark your door.
