removing exterior door handles

searched on here for a little while with regards to this but cant seem to find anything. so wondering if anyone can help me, how do you remove the outside door handles on a mk3 ibiza, i want to paint them but dont know how take them off?

hey there is a t20 torx screw under a tiny plastic cover on the lockside of the door
undo the screw but dont remove it just undo it the lock should come out then you can get the handle off.

thanks IBZ.28L, ill give it a go, do you reckon i should paint it myself, or get someone do it, because i dnt want the paint to wear away as its going to get constant use.

If you paint it right it should be fine.
Sand, Maybe some wet/dry then prime, paint and lacquer

yea thats what i done with my wing mirrors, think ill paint the bottom parts of my car 1st, see how that turns out, wing mirrors came out top notch lol
