Removing CD Player?

Personally I don't think you need the removal keys, I just cut up an old credit card. Worked a treat

sterio wont power up with ignition?? why?

i have an ibiza cupra tdi with an alana sterio, just recently got the car, the sterio will only power up if i press the power button on the left, then i need to turn the sterio off every time. this may be normal but im a newby, i just thought the sterio would power up with the ignition.
any one able to help?

Sounds like the last owner might have had an aftermarket stereo in and swapped the two live wires over.

Does it keep the radio stations when switched off ?

I think there is also a setting in the menu for ign on/off control

Removing Tray

Removing head unit

Headunit out (Be careful of ariel cable on back right hand side of unit, will pop off)

Blue connector for AUX, (the one from ebay) green wire is touching pin 14

Pin 14 & green wire

Screen display when you have done it correctly
