Removing bumpstrips

I spent a few hours cleaning my Cupra yesterday i give it a polish and a wax and the paintwork is spotless looks so nice
The only thing spoiling it is the bumpstrips along the sides has anyone removed theres? Pics? is it easy to do

mate they either have to be smoothed and colour coded or have to stay as there are holes underneath
