Remote Flippy key fob

Hello people, I'm after your advice; I have got hold of an Audi keyfob (wit the open/close/boot buttons) but I don't know where it's come from (as in 'has it been lost/stolen'??);

if I go to a dealers and try and get it configured to my car, do you think something might come up on their system to say that it's lost/stolen?

Just take the transponder out of your spare key, but it in the flip key, programme is via the instructions on the link above, then get a blade cut !!

Sorted - you dont have to go the dealers at all

Hi mate, I got a 3 button flip key from ebay a couple of months ago and programmed it myself in about 20 mins - including changing over the transponder.
Don't have to go near the dealer

It took me about a week to get the transponder out of the spare key haha

sorry, 4got to say that I haven't got a spare key...therefore no spare transponder..
