You gotta decide, whats near you, and how far you wanna take the car. If for example you only wanted simple remap, then stay local, but if you wanted to say get the remap as part of an IHI type upgrade then your probably best traveling a little further for it.

I may have a remapped ECU for sale soon btw.

depends on aswel if you do want a custom map (set up on a rolling road) or just a standard map like a revo or apr like superchips

LOL you wont get many Live maps for the same price as a generic map, and would only really be worth it, if going for something special in the engine.

You're 2 options are Star or REVO, unless you want to drive to England.

Star runs less boost, on a standard engine i made 195bhp and 208lbft.

With revo you should make around 195bhp and 220lb/ft.

The revo will have more torque midrange, but they both make the same bhp. As REVO runs more boost it will heatsoak the SMIC sooner and make less power.

Hes in scotland mate, P-Torque are in wolverhampton so a fair drive lol.

I went for revo as it seemed to be the most popular cant say i have any gurmbbles about the map or the customer service i got! Initally i was only going for a remap and leave it at that but now im close to finishing the K03s upgrade im still going to stay with revo and get a stage 2 and have it set up properly via a SPS3. If i dont like the stg2 then i will be considering a custom map.

this might sound silly? so you would lose power even if you had a fmic or a pace chargecooler?

Is Star's "stock" map exactly the same as the the SEAT original or did you notice any difference ?

My revo map had a shudder around then also, i think it was worn vacum lines as i changed them and it disappeared!

After 'star' lost the apr maps and moved to giac, a new place in kircaldy opended called cruise motorsport opened offering the generic apr maps, I'd give them a try! It was songman that recommended them!
