hey people.

I just run a quote over to Green insurance. and with the following
3 points on a SP60. 1 crash but third party fault, 6 years no claims, no mods and 6k miles a year. came out at £670 a year, i just paid under 1k for Adrian Flux, think im going to cancel that on my 14 days cancel period.

Green Insurance is cheap and well quick to quote

don't think that over 25 it gets cheaper.. i heard this when was under 25 so thought yippee it should get cheaper.... IT DOESN'T..
we all have to pay for people who insist on driving around with no insurance.
33, over 10 years ncb and paying £275 fully comp....cheap i hear you say....nop i only paid about £250 last year. it goes up every year and i'm getting older.

however when i was under 25 many moons ago, i used hyperformance.
or do search on net for younger drivers ;)

I thought this too, at 25 your excess drops alot, that's all. Not classed as a 'young driver' anymore.

I recommend Adrian Flux for mod friendly.

just added my other speeding affence to green insurance, and it didnt make a difference. Called adrian flux and they said they would call me back about matching or beating Green linsurances quote. dont think they will beat it so full refund please :).

highly recommend Green insurance, and the web site is so easy, you just type your claims + points in a box, no drop down crap. so they get the real story with out phoning up (so great if your at work). They then e-mail you back with a quote which you can reply to and ask quesitons with a quick response.

give them a try,

Why tell your insurance company!!!
they only way they or anybody else will be able to tell whether it is remapped or not is to put it onto a rolling road!!!!!

so if u crash the car then the chances of it being able to go onto a rollin groad is quiet small!

Greenlight all the way !!

I'm 24 with 4NCB i'm only paying £800 all mods included

With Greenlight did you get your keys covered with 'Boomerang Tag'?

It was included in my premium as an extra but when I called to say I did not want this service or the extra legal cover they said it was includedas standard even though they state in the policy that it is an extra?

That is so wrong!

You cant see physically if a car has been remapped but you can electronically, if an insurance company wanted to check they could very easily!

All an insurance company have to do is plug in a laptop to see if it's been remapped. If you can't afford to insure your car with mods then don't mod your car.

£275 comp, who are you insured with, i'm older than 33 and the cheapest i could find was £337 protected with 10+ years ncd.... just renewed it too,

I tried Noel dazely, who said they would call me back I'm still waiting,, so renewed with my exsisting insurer, who price matched, m&s insurance..
