Mr bill advises that he would only put throttle bodies on a car that "needs to breath more". 0_o . I think they would be the last thing to do to your car, after the fore mentioned chassis upgrades (strut braces, arb's, poly utherine bushes, maybe a bit of seem welding), suspension upgrade, brake upgrade, proper wheels + tyres? and then a bit of tinkering with the engine. You have got the suspension and engine tinkering. SO its just a matter of the other bits. I dont think anyone on this forum actually has Throttle bodies on a Ibiza, they all seem to be on cordoba's.

A guy called Rob i believe has them on his Ibiza 2.0 16v, and was last running about 220bhp at 8000rpm

The thing you have to watch out with TB's is the road noise
some are even too loud on track if they go above a certain decibel level
I think F2Stu on here has been told he has to build some kind of enclosed housing on his throttle bodies as they were too loud, on the road and on the track
I think throttle bodies are only for the hardcore. They are pricey, very pricey, you do see gains, and good gains but its a case of doing everything first and in the right order.
Stick to light power and heavier chassis upgrades to start and work up.

yer i got quoted £2100 for the full Direct to head kit, i've found a cheaper more creative way of going faster :d
Valvers are good fun but not cost effective as a 20vt bangs for bucks
Trouble is you'll get minimal gains just doing one thing, and you'll need to do other things to expliot each other.
