Although it sounds like alot of negativity from us its just that those figures are not normally reached with the mods you have so we're questioning the company that did it not having a go at you, after all you were told thats what it is and id love to think they are true figures for you
Yes, I didnt mean to sound negative. in all honesty its nice to see someone else has gone there and got 'near' results of mine, obviosuly i cant see your RR printout...
Just think its probably worth checking as you've probably paied a fare wack of wedge to this company, its fare to say you dont want to be ripped off!

yeah they did take the ecu out in the end because the said it had been played with before but i bought the car standard(but you never no it could have been modified before) the also said it seemed like it had one of those remaps where you can switch it from modified to standard on a switch!?!
Yeah would be good to get another rr done just to see what the reading is where would be the best place?
Yeah i do have a boost gauge btw!

Sounds like the same bollox story they gave me REALLY annoys me how people like this are allowed to trade. Apparently my EPROM was wrong and i needed a new chip (hrrrm)..
I took mine to Mikeanics in Congleton (pretty much right next to Votex Revo Dealer)
Sound guy, old skool rolling road but clearly works...
Also rolling roads his rally car offen as he does that himself (Escort Cossy - not VAG)... He said he dont get into mapping vags (understandable since there is a revo dealer next door) but obviously his done dyno runs from other 1.820VT's theyve done...
I would get it done soon tho dude, cos u should be able to take it back within 14 days if its not as you wanted.

James...we've been to a few places around Bristol now theres Interpro at thornbury who seemed to give as few accurate figures, Westec seem to of diappeared and theres TSR Performance but last time we went there they didnt have fans and it was quite hot, but should be ok at this time of year and hopefully they've got some fans now!!

a think theres sumfine wrong there matey them figures are a bit low standerd 154 wif 155 a torge and wen a got mine chipped it taken it too 198.5 bhp wif 152 atw and 252 a tourge
Not had mine RR since its been mapped but had it RR when standard at awesome gti in manchester and I got 140bhp at the wheels and 160bhp at fly so only had a transmission loss of around 20bhp.
Your figures of 114 bhp at wheels standard seems low for standard, and 146 when mapped at wheels also seems low. And to have a 65bhp transmission loss is excessive, your losing the power of a 1.2 litre car through your transmission.
As mentioned I'd have it RR elsewhere and I'd also have it vagcom'd and some logging done, as according to your standard results your were down on power to start with.
