Remapped but doesn't feel it!

Hey had my car remapped 4weeks ago tomorrow and it doesn't seem like its mapped. My car is a fr tdi (150 ARL). So with the story, I had it remapped and the first week after it being mapped the car felt a lot faster and smoother, in the dry if driving hard the traction light would flash all the way thorough first, second and just into third, but over the last week or two the car doesn't feel as quick and its not wanting to spin in third and even high up in second. Any ideas? Has the car reset its self into a factory map? (If it can do that). Also no signs of the clutch slipping either. Car has also been serviced regularly, car is at 90k mileage. Thanks.

It can't just reset itself to the factory map if it's hard written into it, which it should be. Have you checked for boos leaks?

I've had mine mapped by Revo and the power varies exactly as you describe due to the weather. Warm air = less density = less air = less power. It wheel spins in third in winter but only just in second in summer. It's also related to the tyre temperatures affecting grip but it defo has less power when the temperature gets up.

I've notice ambient temps affecting mine as well, on a cold day it goes like stink but is noticeably different on a warmer day. Its torque I notice is affected

I may have a small boost leak just noticed that the other do but it still boosts correctly, stupid question but how can I find out exactly where the leak is? Or is it just a case of taking all pipes off and checking them? Car was mapped at JBS chesterfield they've got a very good reputation that's why I went there.

Smoke test or make yourself a boost leak tester - pressureise the system with the engine off and listen for where air is escaping
