I think at the end of the day (it get dark 
) that some cars will some won't.
There is no-one on here that can 100% predict what will happen after a remap (besides bigger smiles).
It's just things to consider if you're going to remap. If you know you "may" have to fork out for coil pack(s) then at least you've accounted for it in the budget...if you then don't have to it's money in your pocket / over the bar...result!
It's kinda like the dyno lottery...you never know what you'll get
