Having just read the entire thread, if you're happy with the remap then thats excellent. You got what you wanted and you're enjoying the motor. It is satisfying to keep more pwerful hardware honest in the old smokey motor, but every now and then someone gets ya back too!
As a word of warning, my Allards clutch is now feeling a bit tired in traffic after 23k miles. It was only the plate I upgraded being a paddle plate designed thingy with less friction material surface area. I wasn't expecting it to last as long as an OEM but thought it might get me 30-40k. Oh well, its worth the pain for the pleasure of the remap and there are other, possibly better clutch solutions out there to try as yet - I think Awesome do some pretty tasty (expensive) stuff but in the long run may be more cost effective. With my mileage I'll be doing 3 Allards clutch plates every 2 years!

im going to pod on the 20th (This weekend) provided the weather holds off
if it rains on the 20th then i will hold out for the 27th jan when the next rwyb is
will be intrested to see what time i get again. see if i can better it at all!?
For the person that asked how rwyb works:
you take your car to santapod
pay to get in (about 10quid)
then when your in if you want to go down the strip you pay the track sign-on (about 20quid)
they give you a wristband and you join the que
make sure you rememeber your drivers licence.. you will need at least your photocard to go down the strip.
Usually on rwyb days its unlimited runs.
