Guys, i think i already know the answer to this, but please bear with me. Using the standard battery, are you able to replace boot lining, and use the boot as is normal? Or is it a case of, once its moved, its bye bye boot for conventional use?
Depends where you put it. I put mine in the spare wheel well and got a plastic boot liner, so you can't see it now, and can use the boot as normal. If you remove the foam block in the left corner you could mount it there and have 99% normal usage.
Cheers Rob, i'll have to get the carpet out of the boot, it for an ibiza so dont know if there's a difference, but i'll have a look.
Just dont want to cause any problems.
Thanks.
if you mount the battery tray on studs, could you fit it on top of your spare wheel (use the tray to hold the wheel in)?....with moving the tools obviously
