reduced performance after fitting induction kit?

i wouldnt recommend that filter too much to be honest, had one fitted to my leon, because the filters sat so low, it sucks water up! literally its about 8 inches off the floor with nothing protecting it from the tarmac

Mine doesn't sit that low! I've been through harsh weather and not had problems, just gotta avoid the puddles

On topic, I think giving the SAI it's own filter sorted the problem. I love the shhhhhh noise of the induction when you press the throttle, then a conservative 'shhhh' noise when you let off.
