Reduced MPg after Oil & filter change

Hi,

I have a Leon TDI 150 and after all of your advice here bought myself a Pela Pump and changed my oil and oil filter.

I dont know if I am dreaming but I seem to be getting less mpg. Nothing really officially recorded but I get the sense the diesel is going down faster.

Any suggestions????

Did you ever get any answers about this funky?

I only ask cause I changed my oil today and my mpg has dropped slightly ( maybe 4-5 mpg I think)

Did yours improve over time?

I have had a couple of customers ask me the very same question" after there service was carried out there MPG dropped by upto 5" the only logical answer i had for them was we recently changed our oil from SLX LONGLIFE 2 too MOBIL oil, maybe slighty thicker an causing more drag on the engine. But its good oil, recommended for everything. Hope this helps.

Cheers, makes me feel slightly better as I was worried I may have broken something...

Did anyone say it got better? or should i expect decreased economy until my next oil change?
