Recirc Climate Problem

Has anyone else experienced problems with the recirc function of the climate control. When i press the recirc buttton(or reverse) the fans sound as if they are blocked and no air comes out. Apart from that the climate control works fine.

Car is still under warrenty and is due a service but was just wondering if anyone else had exoerienced this problem.

have you managed to have it fixed? I have the same problem and I have it booked on Thursday but I wonder what it is?

Yeah got it sorted, turns out the pipe in beind the glove box was squashed. When the parrot bluetooth was fitted the control box was placed against the pipe, oops

Hehe do you know what the pipe looks like? Where is it located (left right top bottom) behind glove box? I need to take mine off again and have a look. Did you have yours fixed by seat under warranty or fixed yourself?

My money would have been on a blocked pollen filter.

Nath i've replaced filter yesterday and although slightly better it still is blocked... and i have fitted parrot there...

Yeah had mine repaired under warrenty, can't remember where the pipe is, i fitted the parrot last november.

how stupid I was!
There is a neat space for parrot behind a glovebox and thats where I fitted mine... as it turns out - there is a reason for this neat space - its over a flap for recirculation!! so effectively I had parrot sitting on the flap and it couldn't rotate fully to open internal air recirculation. Only with glovebox off and parrot removed I could see it actually moving...

so its not the pipe squashed - its simply parrot blue control box blocking recirculation flap!!!

Good, glad to hear you got it sorted. Sounds as if i did the same as you by placing my parrot box in that same space!
