Rear window Shattered!

Hi All,
I am sure that I have seen this in the forum somewhere before and have just searched through and cannot find the post. I got up this morning and my rear window is shattered. I know it wasn't hit as the car is in the garage overnight.

I am getting it replaced tonight but I wondered if this is a known issue/fault do Seat pay for the repair??? Has anyone tried and been rejected or got their money back?

As you said it has been posted about before, Muddyboots springs to mind so maybe PM him.

Should be covered by a descent insurance policy without loss of NCD.

Yeah it is covered on insurance but still have to pay excess. Will try muddy boots. Thanks.

Yeah you will need to pay your glass excess but your No claims diccount should be safe.

They'll blame the weather - Perhaps they'll see this as an act of god and not cover it under the policy lol!

had it on a previous car (pug) something to do with air pressure and differences in temperatures.....was covered on fully comp insurance so didnt lose NC, however had to pay glass excess about 40 quid i think it was...
