Rear wheel spacers??

Im sure I read a couple of days ago about someone getting spacers between their rear alloy wheek and hub? Or was I just Imagining??

Erm, no I have 15mm rear spacers on the back, looks much nicer and id say it helps with the back end rumble under heavy breaking.

Where do you pick them up from and what price. Do you need different(longer) studs aswell? I think my rear wheels look too far in the bodywork for some reason---or is it just me?

I searched for this the other day, and it was difficult to find any definitive answers.

Apparently someone on this website supplies them WITH the extended bolts, dont know who though, as I would be looking to buy some for when my springs go on next monday.

Ask badger 5, iiirc he can supply everything you need, spacers, bolts etc.

Yup, mine are from him I beleive (second hand tho) my wheels havnt fallen out yet :D

Tho, I dont think they wil be legal as stick out pasted the body of the car

has anyone ever tried to get an mot with them on----or do they stick out that much? Has anyone got any pics of a mk4 with them fittted(before and after)?

I dont know what the mot rules are, but if they stick out past the wheel arch--surely that would be visable and depending on your mot guy--he could get shitty

Just re-read my last post, yes it was late, but man that doesnt make sense!

TBH, im not worried, just take them off b4 its goes in to get a MOT if your worried.

I don't think anyone would be concerned with 15mm spacers, I suspect it makes the car look like it should have done in the first place !

15 is nowt. no probs on MOT
I am running 20's all-round on my leon, lowered lots too, no probs.
...and yes extended wheel bolts for anything over 5mm spacers...
