I hav had to fit 5mm spacers front and back on my leon since fittin coilovers
But i wld say only use them if needed

My mk3 still felt a bit light and "skittish" (for want of a better word) at the back under heavy braking even with 15mm spacers on the back... but the wheels sit a lot nicer in the arches.
