If its dripping down onto the nearside front, rear wishbone mounting, where's the pipe come off and whats the best way to access it?

Same place mine was leaking which I fixed this afternoon.

10mm socket with a long reach extension needed to remove the nut on the right handside of the air box at the bottom.

I unplugged the MAF sensor cable and removed the air intake/exit pipe from the box. Then just wiggled it until the rubber inserts popped free and lifted it out of the way.

You'll then see the pipe right underneath next the the ABS box. The first part of the pipe is black and comes out of a thick chunk of other cables. The part that's blown off after the connection has a ribbed plastic coating which you can trace back from the bulkhead. I had trouble finding it at first. Use a cable tie or something once you get them together in the hope it doesn't happen again!

I've got both ends, but just can't get enough access in order to get them to go the final 2mm to clip into each other.

So, first quirt and it fell apart again

May of course mean its blocked somewhere, and thats the weakest joint so it keeps blowing off. But without it actually clipped together its not going to last anyway.

Thanks to the info in this thread, hubby fixed my rear washer yesterday - the pipe under the bonnet had come off. Apparently it was a b*gger to get to but all sorted now.

Fixed mine under bonnet, checked it, to find it had popped off in the boot too! All sorted now though!

Would this also apply to the front washer. As I'm getting no water fom front or rear, but the motor is still giving it the beans.

My washer line popped off in the engine bay on thursday i called Seat Assist who came and did there thing.

Also on the same day my bros washer lined popped off on his fabia vrs but that line on that runs straight down the back of the engine and was easy to reach and fix!!!

It's an absolute bugger to get and and actually clip back in. Only really enough room for one hand and thats how I managed it, that and a bit of pain!! Hoping I got the cable tie on tight enough as that was even harder to put around and tighten with one hand

This is a great guide! did mine over the weekend, found I had the two rear joints popped off. Once repaired joint in engine bay popped off!! After over an hour of sticking my hands and head in the engine i found the pipes diconnected, the washers are now fully repaired

I have been hit by this problem 2. Had the one in the boot come off last month which was easy to re-connect but this time the one in the bonnet has popped.

Just a quick question about how to get to it. I'm guessin removing airbox ? I did loosen the airbox the other day and tried to get my hand around it but it didnt work.

How do you remove the airbox ? I took out the bolt on the right + moved it out of the rubber housing + took the rubber air intake pipe from the front. But wasnt sure what else i should remove (just incase i caused more hassle to myself ..or cost !! lol)
