rear wash wipe

The rear wash wipe, front washer and reversing light on my Altea have simultaneously stopped working. I haven't yet checked to see if the light is due to a blown bulb but I think the washers and rear wipe are due to some common electrical problem. The fluid in the wash tank is not frozen. The fuses above the pedals all appear to be OK. I'll be at it with a multi meter later today.
I have done a search and found that the boot not being closed will prevent the wiper from working but what about the front and rear washers?
Anyone had a similar problem?

Hi Bill55,

there is only one motor pump for the front & rear washer (different turning directions), so there might be your issue.
(btw. same as with the boot washer, the front washer won't work when engine cover isn't closed properly)

No combined fuse for rev.light & wiper motor, so that might be as well a defect bulb.

Update for the electricians out there:
washer pump works Ok when 12v directly applied to terminals (both directions).
12v not seen at pump connector terminals when wiper stalk operated and ignition on.
VCDS (Vag com) confirms that wiper stalk signal is seen for wash wipe.
Fault codes on central electronics module;
1. Terminal 75x electrical fault in circuit (not sure what that is yet)
2. control circuit for rear screen washer pump fault in circuit
2. windscreen wash pump (V5) fault in circuit

12v not seen at fuse sc29 when ignition is on. Fuse is OK.

Slowly working my way back to the battery but any suggestions welcome.

Just had to have my washer pump replaced due to it coming apart because of the cold weather up here in the North ,(-19c with 50/50 mix of anti freeze ) Now gone up to nearly 100 per cent to keep the new one safe.

Found it. Faulty relay at position KL75 (terminal 75X fault) on power supply unit above fuse panel behind the dashboard. Also made the front and rear fog light inoperative and some function in the climatronic unit but I didn't notice that to start with. Reversing light problem totally unconnected and coincidental. New relay cost £9.00.
