Rear veiw camera

Hi all, great forum by the way
Anyway the question, I bought a Leon mk3 with the upgraded sat nav/led lighting pack etc.
Does anyone know the model number of the satnav/stereo unit and has anyone fitted a rear veiw camera to their unit or know if it has the connections on the back to allow you to connect one
I know you can on the units fitted to some Leon mk2 and golfs but after much searching I can't find out much about the mk3 satnav/stereo and only limited info on the similar unit in the Golf mk7

I'm not sure but I would also be interested it it could be done. There's no option when ordering the car but could be possible on other vag cars

Thanks for replying,as you said it wasn't an option on the mk3
But I'm pretty sure its possible, I've got all the bits except head unit plugs/wiring and I'm going to integrate the camera into the reat Seat badge/tailgate opener so the Seat badge lifts when you select reverse to reveal the camera
I just need to find out the stereo model number or find a picture or wiring diagram of the rear of the stereo so I can see if it has the spare slot to except the RGB/camera feed
I guess I could just pull the dash out and look, but I really would like to be sure before I pull my brand new car apart

Anyway if it is possible I'll post up a diy once i've done it

Hi, I noticed that it was over a year ago that you posted the last msg.

I am looking to do exactly the same with my 2013 Seat Leon MK 3, did you manage to get the video signal into the standard head unit?

Someone else did already install a reverse camera in a leon mk3. Nice job by do way!
