hi all, i have the same rear strut brace as PhilW the Raid one, the trimsport one looks mega tasty, while i was searching the net i found a rear strut brace on WWW.Wiechers-Sport.de product code 426005 that some people may be interested in only down side is its from Germany so postage costs may be expensive!

Does anyone know if either of the rear strut designs are more effective than the other, or does it make no differences?

I don't want one that requires drilling so that leaves 2 options that I can find...the raid hp style one or the trimsport one. The trimsport one is over twice as expensive, but will it make the car handle any better than the raid hp one?

Yeah, i've done load of things. It sits on the bodywork, the round parts under the strut.

great, I've got one of these to fit I hope mine's ok. Do you fit it pointing forwards or backwards ie. /----\ or \___/ (if you get what I mean lol!)

i have same strut as you phil but have mine the other way /---\ like that so to speak fits fine apart from rubs on my amp so may move dident know if there was a correct way round to have it or not lol.

Now i didn try it the other way round which seemed to sit better as the cups arent as deep that side, but the bar fouled my speakers. But now i didnt have any interior so i could swap it round.

well fits fine way i have it doesent touch the rear seats at all only resting on my amp as its attached to back seat if the amp was couple of inch's low would be fine.
