Rear speaker sizes for Vario?

I want to install some rear speakers in my polo variant, which should be the same as the vario.

In the plastic panels on each side of the boot are speaker grilles, upon removal of these grilles i found that the wiring is already there for the speakers. Excellent.

The only question i have is that the holes for the speakers are a really weird size and i was wondering had anyone mounted speakers behind these grilles that fitted and what size were they? Was thinking maybe 10cm round or 4x6 inch would be the closest things to a fit?


The other option is get some bigger speakers and cut into the trim panel and mount them in it but id prefer them behind the grilles.

They'll be 4x6 the same as all cordys.

thanks mate i never got measuring it or anything, thought it looked rather small, smaller than 4x6. Im glad you can actually buy 4x6 speakers instead of them being some random OEM size and me having to try and fit something in lol
