I know there're a lot of threads on rear brake pads, but they all revolve around your lucky Cupra R drivers with seemingly money to burn.

I on the other had drive the economical TDi 150 and have no money spare at the end of any month.

So, on vwspares.co.uk there are the following two options:

vehicles with solid discs Febi 16344 £12.50
vehicles with solid discs Genuine 1J0698451J £23.40

Are the Febi as good as the Genuine? I know it's 'only a tenner' difference, but believe me that's a lot to me.

Cheers.

£16.71 on there, says OE German Pads so guessing they're the standard issue ones that cost £23.40 at the other place?
