Rear light lens - leaking

I was wondering if anyone had any success resealing a rear light lens on these or other cars?

There was a build up of water in one of mine, drivers side, the part attached to the tailgate, so it dumped a few mls of water into the boot when I opened it earlier.

I took off the lens, and the outer part (clear and red reflective parts) is separating from the inner part, when I filled the inner part where the bulbs are, I could see the water gushing out where it's separated, about 2 inches along the top edge of the lens.

Looking around, I can see repairs on other makes/types with butyl, but those enclosures usually have screws holding the inner and outer together, whereas with these Leon lenses, the glue holds it together entirely. Anyone with any tips or good links on how to tackle this problem?

They're factory sealed units and pretty much impossible to split without destroying them.
Personally I'd just replace as it's much easier and they cost sod all anyway.
