Dont forget that with any dump valve its position will remain the same,after the MAF.The sound you hear is through the intake system,an enclosed filter will mask the sound eg Dynatwist etc.My Green filter is an open one but sits inside the aluminium box with a cold air feed to the box.The air resonates through the box when the valve dumps and as stated before it is loud.When I put the original filter housing on it was barely audible!It must be down to the installation of my intake/box/filter arrangement.

IIRC the Forge007P or the Baileys DV30 are the best

I have a Forge007P and it isnt that loud on the standard airbox to be honest but with an Open Filter its mega loud!

Its more about what you put with the Dump Valve, you need to change to a good Induction Kit like an Open Filter, they are loudest, get it remapped, new TIP etc

A good Open Filter to get is the Jabbasport one

Catb1, im from warrington so only down the road from awesome, i do believe its pretty loud, because mine is, just wanted it louder, also good to know that your wheels will fit brembo's under as thats what im after
might have to take you up on your system to compare with mine,

think il stay with the 007, im not spending about £100 on another DV that might not be as loud as the one iv got me thinks
