Re-Circ DV

im currently running a Forge 007 DV on my ibiza, their are a few out their though that are meant to be louder and more efficient but still a re-circ (wouldnt touch a atmospheric one on this car) iv looked at the Bailey DV30 and the Forge Type RS Valve, are their any others and which one would people recommend? or should i just stick with the 007 as i know it works and doesnt sound too bad (just would like louder)

I know their are alot of threads on here about DV's but they are all mostly about people wanting to put atmospheric ones on

Am I the only person with a loud 007P? Granted with the windows up you cant hear that much due to VW soundproofing techniques however with one down you can hear it. Others have commented on it too.

Got a dynatwist WITH the heat shield on and the intake hose attached and hanging down into the wing/archliner. Also the forge has just been serviced and has no leaks and is still loud(ish).

Mine is a lot louder now i have a FMIC.

currently running the jabbasport and fitting a 80mm cold feed pipe at weekend from where my foglight is (removing it)

it is pretty loud already, and yes , its louder with the passanger window down, just wondering if their were any louder re-circs?? if not ,im pretty happy with how the 007 sounds

My forge with induction kit gives a canny tshh, im more impressed with the loud pop you get from the exhaust tho lol

i've got a Stratmosphere Hyperboost Recirc DV and it's perfect!! I got a Pipercross Induction kit aswell and together it gives off a nice subtle whooshy sound! nothing chavvy don't worry lol made alot of difference on the car's reactions. i got mine from Tuningwerkes in Croydon.

Its a 2.5" system without the middle box, just like the supersprint one.
Others have also mentioned the same popping from their cars so its all ok LOL

Would probably be even worse with a downpipe and hi-flow cat.

yeah i get that sexy sounding backfire as well, really makes those corsa boys think twice about putting their gun down off the lights. it isn't unhealty for your car all it is is excess fuel in the exhaust. ( i think anyway)

mine rumbles sometimes when im slowing down after flooring it (got a miltec full system it race cat) but iv never heard a pop, i would sh*t myself if my car started doing that, must just be different setups

i'm not really sure about which one's louder. my one does give off a nice sound though! speak to Awesome and ask about it, they'll give you better info. check out their site aswell, they've got descriptions of both of them.

I get pops all the time, usually when short shifting on part boost. Get lots on the overrun after high speed runs

Forge 007p on mine and the dump is very loud(No need to have the window down).Even when the old diaphragm DV was on it was still very audible.I put this down to the induction kit and home made aluminium heat shield.

i think the question came accross the wrong way

Can you get louder DV's that the 007 (not including)

It has gone alot louder since the new TIP and Induction but i want it even louder

which "other" DV's are out their that you might get a better noise out of
