There's a proposed rule change maybe coming out in the next year or so trying to ban specials like the 306, the Audi A3 Quattro of David Kynaston and it also put the McRae R4's future in doubt back before all the bad stuff happened there.

Something to do with trying to cut costs and bring things in line with Europe and the rest of the world. Means boring Group N cars with their whining gearboxes and squealing brakes if it goes ahead.

God I hope not - the Group N evo's and subaru's are so very dull to watch

I know, that put me off going to the Jim Clark the past couple of years, especially as there weren't many Irish drivers coming across with WRCs. They can't be driven to look quick or spectacular, as they have limitations being "showroom spec" cars. I hope S2000 takes off though and does become more affordable.
