radio/cd dosent fit properly

hi guys the radio/cd on my 04 1.2 dosent sit in its housing properly,although it dosent pull all the way out it comes out about 1/4 of an inch,i can push it back in but after driving it slowly works its way out,anybody any ideas on how i can stop the radio from doing this,its really anoying:(

i hope i havent upset anybody on here,i thought i might get at least 1 reply,i know the question might make me look a little dim but i really do need you guys help,any help would be appreciated

The usual reason for the unit not staying in place is that it is not going all the way in to start with.

Take it out and look at the wires behind it to see if any were trapped.

Then put the unit back in with the bottom tray removed for hand access - making sure that the wires are all out of the way. you will here a firm click when the catches engage.

Then replace the tray below the stereo.

Is the cage secure in?

If not, do as DEAN0 says and put it in then put the tray in. There should be plenty of room fo it.

thanks guys ill try that,not sure how well it will come out thou at it seems secure but ill give it a go thanks again:)
