Its not me thats bothered its my insurance company. After seeing what happens to people who don’t declare everything on there insurance ive decided to tell them, and basically if I remove a safety feature they wont insure me!

The R32's might be good seats, but it's not an R32 so in my mind they'd look out of place.

I suppose that as the LCR didn't come with leather, leather in and LCR also looks out of place to me.

Unless you can do something with the logos, or perhaps put and R32 wheel and R32 "R" badges...

I thought you'd figured out that the LCR Recaros were the same as the rest of the VAG range Recaro seats?

Talk to sixpot about cost - his leather retrim is vvv nice indeed!

If insurance is a problem stick to the Recaros then, saves hassle plus the R32 seats can be uber dosh, especially if the guy starts pushing the price up due to interest, which is wrong IMO. It cost me £1200 to have cloth Golf Recaros retrimmed in soft black Nappa leather, that included the doorcards, armrest, handbrake, etc., leather doesn't look out of place on ANY car! Golf ones are heated too, the switches fit in nicely where the cupholder is.

That looks great, £1600 is how much ive been quoted for:

- Audi nappa leather
- Alcantara middles
- R logos front an back in black (got to keep them really)
- Heated front seats

But I have to supply the heating elements and switches etc.

Ive got so far:

1 passenger side recaro (was supposed to be driver’s side!)
2 golf mk4 recaros in ok condition
1 golf rear bench in crap condition
VW front seat heating elements (top bottom and wings, which are rare as fook!)

Bugger I remember something you said before Rob, the golf recaros don’t match the Leon rear bench (style wise) I wonder if the LCR recaro and Golf recaro have a different pattern then? If so that’s going to really feck it up!

Those seats are gorgeous! I regret looking at them everytime as I think re-trim!! I so miss leather in my car, so the next car I get will have full leater.

I suppose I could think about a standard LC nappa re-trim, but it'll still cost a fortune.. :(
