I have a Mk3 Ibiza cupra, its got a APR chip, full cat back, FMIC, induction and various other mods. Cars been running fine up untill last week when the engine management light came on, this at first threw my car into limp mode. But it has since come out of limp a couple of times for around 10mins before going straight back to 5psi again.
Today i took it to a local vag tuner who used vagcom to diagnose the car. The car came up with the 2 faults..... Maximum charge pressure exceeded (which i have had before) and the second was......Bank 1. Maximum Adaptation (multi) System Too Lean.
Both me and the mechanic at the garage were a little baffled as he had never seen the bank 1 falut before. He was a little unsure on what the problem could be but said it might be a mapping problem.
Has anyone else ever experienced this problem? or anyone know of this problem and have a solution for it?
Cheers
