Project Pedro - Am I going to regret it ?

Hello everybody,

In July I bought Seat Leon Cupra R for 5250 pounds with 95k miles. Apparently in mint condition and previous owner had it for 14 years.
I bought couple things here in UK ( recaro seats, cobra exhaust, oils ) and took Pedro to Poland for a makeover which should take about 5-6 months.
My brother is a mechanic and in his spare time he is working on Pedro. Unfortunately car wasn't in mint condition and have a lot of problems. I don't have to much mechanical knowledge myself. I'm sure my brother would never buy this car as it was neglected by previous owner.
The list of things that were changed or repaired goes on and on. I want to have a car for next 10 years as I cant stand new cars anymore. Start/Stop, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, everything is beeping and covered in piano black, stereo is usually crap, some cars have ecu behind headlamp, button instead of a handbrake ect.

I believe he will be able to finish all mechanical work by February and then I can send car for car audio upgrade and wrapping. Overall budget 15k including car but we might have to go over that budget a bit

We are already touching 10 grand and car audio and wrapping will cost around 5.

I will attach couple of photos so you can judge yourself if I am mad.
