Hello
I have an Ibiza '10, which has single headlamp. I am driving at night mostly, so I need to see what's going on in front of me more than in day
There're couple of things to be figured out.
Problem 1
I have H4 bulbs, so both dipped and full beam is being done in same bulb. If I only buy double headlamp ones and fit them to car, I won't be able to do full beam exactly when my headlights are on (Dipped beam will be off if I push the "arm", because of H4 system structure.)
Problem 2
I found second hand double headlamp headlights. Bi-xenon projectors to be added to main beam, so what will I do with full beam halogen bulb? Here is the idea:
When headlights are OFF:
If I pull the arm full beam halogen bulb will be on, like normal headlights.
If I push the arm nothing will happen, like normal headlights.
When headlights are ON:
If I pull the arm, bi-xenon projector will switch to full beam, full beam halogen lamp won't switch on, preferably.
If I push the arm, bi-xenon projector will switch to full beam, full beam halogen lamp WILL switch on.
I need to do some wirings, and some VAG-COM job I guess.
Question is, how will I do it?
If I manage to do it, I guess I'll be the only one in world doing this
( I live in Turkey, same "MOT exam" happens here once per 2 years. I'll switch to H4 ones when I'll be at "exam", so washer jets are no problem for me. Some can disagree to do this job on a non-auto leveling system, but I don't want to dazzle people with using xenons without lenses
)
