Afternoon ladies and gents....

Righ, the warranty is coming to an end on my 07 plate 1.4 Ibiza Sport. I have only had the car about 8 months and I have never been so fed up with a car, that almost every fault appears to be a 'common one'

I have the 'common' knocking coming from the front drivers side on uneaven road surfaces, the airbag light is constantly on (been in 3 times for this), the rear wash wipe doesn't function due to a split in the pipe as it comes through the bulkhead. I have now been told that this prob won't be covered due to the 'big freeze'.!:censored:[:@]:cartman:

Anyway I have been using SEAT in Wakefield, and have been there 7 times now! I would def not recomend them for anything, they are useless! I was told that the headlights misting up was a design feature, and they are a dual fillament design so therefore expell water when they reach opperating temperature! I didn't want to lol in his face and tell him I used to be a mechanic!:banned:

Anyway, what is the best thing to do?!?!?! Do I just take it to another dealers and get it sorted? Or do I get rid?

Thanks for reading my rant!!! :help:

Put everything down in a letter - make sure you state facts and DO NOT rant in the letter - take a copy of it to the dealer and get the service manager to sign to say he has had it - send a copy to SEAT UK by recorded/registered post - and politely but firmly demand that ALL the issues are fixed BEFORE the warranty runns out.

The airbag is a SAFETY issue - It might help to mention TRADING STANDARDS and the fact that the airbag is not fit for purpose in it's current state.
