Problem with my media sources

I have a 2015 toledo with the no bluetooth infotainment system. It has an aux and a usb port but I can't use them because the media sources can't find either, only the sd card option.. there is electricity in the usb port though so it's connected somewhere. Haven't found any solutions after my many days of googling.

Any help is appreciated

Here is a picture. Don't mind the language? says in the middle "source not available" and then the mediat=media sources says only available is sd which I do not have inserted..

Could it be that it was never intended to be used with USB. USB only to power phones ?. Looks a primitive version of an infotainment system. Mib2 if you keep pressing media it will cycle throu sources. Could try that but I guess it's not wired or licensed to do it... old VAG scam to license functionality but that unit looks so primitive can't believe it would use licenses to control functionality already built in. I'd stick to SD sources.

The manual says that it has both aux and usb, and the usb electricity output is really low. Also pressing the media button does nothing else than open media, it's a touchscreen so need to be on that, but as I mentioned earlier it doesen't show aux or usb as an option in the media sources

Manuals can sometimes cover more functionality than in the model... You might find someone with that model who can confirm. Your wiring could be disconnected to the USB unit which might give you that effect ?.

The manual says that there is 2 possible systems and both have aux/usb, I would upload pics of both but I don't know how many here speaks Finnish
