I could keep it. I'm not driving at the moment and it's sitting quite safely on my drive, so I'm in no rush to sell it. I thought I would have had more calls, even if it was just from timewasters or people hoping they could knock me down on the price. Oh well, have to wait and see. Thanks for your help

Only other suggestion i have is if you are friendly with a local garage or dealership they may put it on their website or stocklist as they will no doubt have a few walk ins looking for specific cars. I had alot of trouble finding a decent cupra up here that was'nt at a crazy price. Couple of dealers took my details and phoned if they had something in. It might work the other way for you. Good luck selling:D

Thanks for all the advice , did think about the dealer as my brother does work for them but going to see how i get on with e bay at the end of the day only takes one person to like it and its gone. Next time round i might leave the mods alone and stick to the furry dice !!

Good luck ianrawlins :)

A major factor is the time of year as mentioned, 2 months beofre xmas, people are savig and dont want to spend their hard earned as xmas is not a cheap time.

I sold it at last ! Went for £9300 to a fella from manchester through e bay, forgot how much hassle it is to sell your car. Just put a deposit on a MONDEO ST200 2.5 V6 (W) reg ...lovely motor but after the tdi the petrol station might become my new best friend ! Big thanks for all the advice over the last couple of years. :)

What is the price for your W reg ST may I ask?

as my old modded Cav 2.0 SRI was as quick as my mates ST 200 (to a ton).
