Yeah just a light dusting of paint.. I always thaught that black emits more heat through radiation anyway so would probably even out.. (car radiators being black and all)

I had my forge one powdercoated black, didn't effect it.

I have painted ones in the past but they just chip.

Ive also got my fmic sprayed black & did notice any difference in performance
