Has anyone had experience with using these on their Cupra?

Got a quote from one of the local garages of £300 Cat Back fitted. 2.75".

Looking at their site, it looks very chav. However, I'm prepared to overlook that if their systems are any good. They also offer lifetime warrenty, which is a good thing :D

How come you are looking at Powerflor when you can get a Blueflame or Miltek for the same sort of price. No choice to be made really. Ive heard mixed reviews on Powerflow, a mate of mine had one on his Clio and after a month it was wobbling all over the place, poor fitment!

Given the price for both systems id go for miltek or blueflame

didn't know how much BF and Miltek would be. Only looked at full turbo back systems by BF and Miltek and they were expensive! Decided that I only need cat back for now. DP can wait a while, when/if I get hybrid, same with the Cat.

Sorry to jump in on your thread but one of my local custom workshops said he will make me one from turbo back for around £350-£400 so is this good

Blueflame and miltek are more expensive...

If it wobbles, take it back with the warrenty ;)

Ive got a centre and rear boxes from powerflow on mine, and both joints need re-sealing, its about 4years old IIRC. You should only go to powerflow if there is no alturnative. My bro had loads of problems with the one on his MR2 too

With the Powerflow systems I imagine it's a case of striking it lucky with the skill of the fabricator at the outlet you choose to use as they are franchised across the country. I had a system fitted on my old car and the welding and fitment was top quality - the guys really knew their stuff but I also hear that they don't use the best grade of stainless compared to the likes of Blueflame. Might be something worth enquiring about if you choose to contact them for a quote.

powerflow one is rather loud too iirc, depends what you want, milltek will be quietest, the BF then powerflow i think would be loudest

Just seen the piper exhaust ad on here

http://www.pipercams.co.uk/exhaust/

anyone used one of their systems?

got a quote from BF so far.

Hello, I had a Piper system on my old series 2 Indigo 106 Rallye and must say it was really well made, quality was good and it fitted really well, cant comment on how loud though because it wouldnt be fair to comment as i had a four branch manifold, decat pipe and the middle silencer box taken out lol! Asyou can imagine it was loud:whistle:

don't want anything OTT!

a nice sound on tickover, and maybe it roars when proper booting it. Basically, I wan't a reasonable noise for daily driving

Nothing like the scbooby across the road who woke me other day just when he was ticking over!!!!

every car round here from saxo - megane - corsa all have the same powerflow exaust note (loud too).

the work depends on the branch, i had to take my polo mk5 gti with g40 engine to my local powerflow as nobody had done this conversion before so needed custom 2.75 inch manifold back system.

quoted £200, £280 later and i had the loudest thing i ever heard. the bloke just wanted me out the door.

i managed the drive home off boost then when i got home i went and bought a mate's bike can and fitted that to shut it up the same day it was terrible!

Got my mufflerectomy from Powerflow.

Will never ever go back to Powerflow, what a set of cowboys (or the ones at Leeds certainly are!!)

The website makes you think ***! this place looks quite pro, when I got to the Leeds Powerflow place it was a little scratty garage down a dirt track and all the mechanics were sat outside with beer cans rolling around on the floor.

I asked to stay and wait while they did my car but they insisted I have a walk into Leeds as it would take quite a while, 3 hrs later I got a phone call saying car was ready.

(I was quoted 40mins for the job and turned up as per my booking time - got back home after 4 hrs of setting off)

NEVER AGAIN!

Only thing that puts me off is the slight "chav" reputation. A bit like ExhaustUK
