Can anyone tell me where abouts it is is located? And as mine keeps coming on even though there is not a fault Im thinking water is getting in, so does anyone know a fix? I have done a search and some people say they have sealed theres was just wanting to have a go whilst I clean my engine tomorow

there wont be a sensor in the rack i dont think it may have a sensor to indicate if power steering fluid is low but if your confident there isnt a fault ul need to clear the ecu codes to wipe the light out but if it returns fraid there is a problem ;)

Mine comes on after about ten secnds after i switch the car on, and it makes my power steering cut out randomly! Im having Inde-Tech reset my Fault codes though, for £25... I hope this sorts it out! I have just had a new rack put on also.

Just to interrupt...

Like I said i had a new steering rack put on recently, which now makes the PAS light illuminate on the dash. I took it to Inde-Tech today to get it reset, and they told me it actually needs a whole new sensor, which will cost me £175!

I cant believe im paying this much into a not very old car! The original garage i got to do the steering rack said if i reset the fault, it should be fine...should i expect the original garage to sort out this problem for me aswell? Or what shall I do??! Or do I just have to bite the bullet, and get a new sensor fitted which means spending £725 on repairs randomly? Any insight??

Not too far away
Did it coincide with you changing the HU per chance?

You are screwing the diagnostics port (K line) with the head unit you have in there at the moment as you are pulling it up to +12V every time you turn the Head Unit on.
