Hi, we have a bad power steering leak on my sons 2010 Seat Ibiza, looking for any tips or suggestions on changing this one over or if a repair is possible, the leak is coming from the middle which looks like the its between the plastic tank and the unit itself.
I can get it up on ramps and pretty handy for smaller mechanical jobs, looks like the battery and battery tray needs to come out and the near side wheel to get to the inner arch, has anyone removed one and are the three bolt easy to get too?
I was going to try and repair the leak if possible as I believe the pumps may be coded to the car, not sure what I'm doing with that if it needs coded etc.
Any suggestions or tips from anyone who has had a similar issue would be great, thinking if its a hassle it may be worth just booking it in somewhere, I like a challenge ;-)
