Right ho. Some pictures.

Now I know these are not the most "exciting" of wheels and if I'm honest... if I had not already gone and bought two new tyres to get it through the MOT a couple of months back. I would probably have put the money towards a new set of wheels/tyres (found some nice looking RS6 style wheel/tyres for around £500 all in). But all told, quite happy with the end result. Might even drop my 5th wheel in and get it done as a spare, if I'm travelling up that way for a couple of days (like I do on occasion).

Nice to see them wheels not curbed to death they look good I think. Yeh I keep thinking about getting my spare done (I have a 5th vRS wheel yes!) but I have used my normal steel spare since. Do it when you run out things to buy! lol

If you don't mind me asking ... what's

"make sure you've put some decent wheel guard on them now so they stay looking the same!" ?

Just had mine done satin black. Was gonna cost £300, but the guy said he wasnt 100% happy with the finish on the inner rim, as they needed some enthusiastic sand blasting, and are a bit pitted, which you cant really see, so he took £50 off. I'm happy with the finish though.

I did my centre caps and wheel nuts myself. They've come up pretty well:D

ie wax. I recently bought chemical guys wheel guard , you use it after cleaning the wheels with non acidic cleaner. Smells lovely and makes the next clean alot easier and less frequent.

Can you buy it "in the high street", or is it just an Internet purchase?

Picked up some Wheel Guard from the stockist recommended. Great service from these people and the stuff is easy to apply. Now I wonder if it's worth taking the wheel off and doing the inside of the rim? or is that maybe going a bit too far?
