Potential Gearbox problem on LC? :confused:

Basically, 3rd gear keeps making a weird noise, kind of like a whiney - waahing thing. But, it's only doing it when coming down through the gears and slowing down in third. There's no issues whatsoever when accelerating in third. It's been doing it for a while but it's been more noticeable recently.

None of the other gears do it, hence the confusion. Does anyone have any ideas before I have to take it to the stealers whilst they 'investigate' the problem... ?

Although I did nearly spit tea all over my computer when I saw the cost...

Guess I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to them damn stealers. Unless I can find a gearbox specialist locally. That's put the new exhaust system on hold for a bit!
