i remeber seeing them on the Boc at Ted Johnsons and thinkin they look a little bit too "stuck on" if that makes sense? perhaps a good bodyshop will be able to blend them in slightly?

O/T but is it just me or does that one on the seat website look lowered to anyone else?

The reasons u just give are why i'm unsure n dont want it look over the top.

The skirts would make it look slightly lower, although that one looks low over the wheels too.

Its also got a gloss painted defuser Is it not somones on here, they traded or sold it for an s3? I thnk they had painted the wheels and defuser and had the side skirts

There was someone on here like u mentioned, I'd be surprised if it was another so similar car. Decided not go for the skirts will have to send them bk to my dealers, maybe put the money towards something a little more fun

Just checked the car configurator on seat.co.uk and for the uk the Sira 17" alloys are the only option, sorry for the confusion. Euro spec cupras get the fr alloys unless racing brakes are specced.

Confirming this, my cupra came with fr style rims and i live in scandinavia.

I´ve been following the thread for a while now and saw that in UK, the standard alloys for the cupra is the "Sira".. Is that so? I´ve just bought my cupra but i got it delivered with the "Aera"-alloys wich i find more appealing. No pics yet, sorry for that but i´m a new member.

Well then, bad for you I was thinking about taking the racingbrakes-option to mine when i ordered it but then the car would have been delivered with "sira" instead.. So, now i´m on the hunt for some good brakepads instead. Something like EBC redstuff or equal but i haven´t found any anywhere Almost no styling/tuning-shop got those to seat here in Sweden.. The same with bodyparts etc.. Only to Mk3-4

I get mine on wednesday. Ive got a picture on the phone. I'll upload now, they look nice, i currently have a MK4 Eco but having a MK5 eco. The MPG on MK4 is amazing. Around 300+miles for about £20 fuel. The new one has a better MPG too

About 2 weeks because ive had my alloys painted black.

I imagine so. What colour are you after? When i ordered mine they said they one white one which was the one i wanted but the demand is high i do believe. Trade my old Eco in on wednesday too. Ill upload the three photos i have from my phone shortly for you.

Candy white is the way forward. They do look somewhat lovely i have to say. I will do pics now then before i log off for a while
