hi guys went out and washed my cupra this morning, when i had finished i went to start the car and move it and the oil pressure light came on along with the engine managment light and the rev counter no longer work

can anyone help me with this problem

Check all your fuses? Water in/on the ECU maybe? Sounds like a strange one tbh, maybe you'll need to get vagcom on the case.

just pulled out the ecu and it has water in it. will this mean i will need a new ecu or if i dry it out wll it be ok

so if the ecu is filling up with water, how has anybody solved this from happening again?? it aint happened to me but i might aswell take precaution 'just incase' :)

i had the ecu apart last night dried it all out, fitted it this morning and now the car wont start im gussing my ecu has had it.
