Polo 6N Rear Axle?

Heard a rumour that the Ibiza Mk3 rear axle and the Polo Mk4 6N axles are the same?

Would I be really lucky (for a change) and not have to sell my Polo FK Silverline X's to buy Ibiza ones just? Could I get away with just swapping them over?

You'll have to sell them

Rear beam is polo mk4, bnut front end is mk3 golf IIRC

Bit of a mix and match....

Its possible that the fronts may fit - I'm not convinced that Polo fronts and golf fronts are that different but have never had them side by side in my hands to check

rears are same

Think what I'll do is hold on them and try them, see how it goes?

Think the differences are in the way that the struts are bolted to the hubs/top mounts IIRC....

Give them a go though as its not costing you
